Emily Staley Emily brings an array of experience to her role at Boileau Communications Management, LLC.
She started her career working with clients in computer software training and change management communications at Andersen Consulting, now Accenture. Living out east, she specialized in training design and development for SAP Enterprise Resource Management software, writing online help, training courses and creating and delivering business simulation courses for a chemical company with locations nationwide.
After moving back to Michigan, she began working for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation in Public Affairs. There she managed and developed communication and marketing efforts that promoted Michigan as a great location for business, specifically in advanced automotive, life sciences, information technology and alternative energy industry sectors. She honed her writing skills through creating marketing pieces, copy for Web sites, press releases, news articles, newsletters and presentations. She planned events and wrote letters and talking points for the corporation’s former CEO as well as for Governors John Engler and Jennifer Granholm.
Emily graduated cum laude from Michigan State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Currently, she lives in Grand Haven with her husband and two young girls. She enjoys being involved in her community, specifically with the local food pantry and chairing the area MOMs group for mothers.
