Randy Boileau Randy Boileau is one of West Michigan’s most experienced communications counselors. He has over 20 years of experience in the areas of journalism, marketing communications and strategic public relations.
Randy has worked extensively in news media relations, public affairs, crisis management, strategic marketing planning, employee communications, financial communications and investor relations. Through his Holland, Michigan-based consulting practice, he serves clients in West Michigan and in the greater Detroit area.
Over the course of his career, Randy has carried out strategic communications planning and implementation for companies such as Bank of America, Comerica, Mazda North America and Kelly Services. Between 1994 and 2000, he was Director of Corporate Communications for Holland, Michigan-based Donnelly Corporation. Between 2000 and 2004, he served as marketing director for Varnum Riddering Schmidt & Howlett LLP, one of Michigan’s leading business law firms.
He has handled a wide variety of matters that have included mergers and acquisitions, environmental issues, divestitures, plant closures, public-issue campaigns, controversial development projects, union organizing campaigns, technology introductions and new product launches. He also has worked extensively in the areas of brand and corporate identity development. In addition, Randy has significant international experience, having worked at various times in Central and South America, Japan and Europe.
As a journalist, Randy wrote for daily newspapers in Michigan and Florida that included the Detroit Free Press, the Miami Herald and the Oakland Press. He holds a B.A. (magna cum laude) in journalism and political science from Oakland University. He lives with his wife and two sons in Holland, Michigan.
